Situated on Craig's road, between Dublin Road and le Rang 8-9, this hill is one of the highest in the region (1563 feet high). At first it was named Chaffer's Hill after a family who settled there prior to 1825. Today, the French Canadians call it "Côte des boeufs" meaning bull's hill. Some say it's because the hill looks like a bull's head, others, because of the "bull gear", which is the lowest gear of a motor when it climbs a hill. Some also call it "Dostie's Hill" because of the Dostie family that presently lives there, where the Chaffers and later the Lipsey used to live. On the top of the hill, the Craig's belvedere offers to the travellers a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence valley.
