The Celtic Way circuit is located in Inverness, in the Maple region (MRC de
l'Érable), Centre-du-Quebec. Historically, Inverness was part of Megantic County,
in the Eastern Townships. For the purpose of this project, we will recollect the history of Megantic County, because this is where the first settlers came to and also because Inverness was the Chief-town of Megantic for over half a century.
